Upcoming Spelling Bee to be held at the Dansville Public Library

The Dansville Public Library is going to be hosting two informal spelling bees this month:
The first is aimed at students in grades 1-4 and includes words from Scripps's One Bee list from last year. It will be held Thursday, January 18 at 4pm.
The second is aimed at students in grades 4-8 and includes words from Scripps's Two Bee list from last year. It will be held Tuesday, January 23 at 5pm.
I've overlapped the target grades to account for a variety of reading levels. The winner of each bee will receive a prize from a local business. Registration online is required; the registration and further information, including the word list, can be found on our calendar bit.ly/DansvilleLibraryCalendar.
We're excited about these events and hope to see your students participate!
