Beyond her administrative roles, Mrs. Zimmerman is actively involved in educational advocacy and leadership development at both the state and local levels.  She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Rural Schools Association of NYS and as President of the DCMO BOCES Superintendents' Association.  Additionally, she is a leadership coach for school administrators and an advocate for rural schools and communities through various organizations.

Expressing her enthusiasm for the opportunity to lead Dansville Central Schools, Mrs. Zimmerman stated, "I'm honored to have been selected as the next superintendent for Dansville Central Schools.  I am looking forward to returning to the region I consider home and joining a supportive community that put students first."
