School Psychologist
Working in close collaboration with students, parents, and educators, our devoted school psychologist, Dr. Heather Paler, is dedicated to enhancing both the social and emotional well-being and academic progress of our students. Delving into the intricacies of students’ learning profiles, she employs a comprehensive assessment approach to guide their academic journey. By actively engaging with students, parents, and educators, Dr. Paler discerns the distinctive learning profiles of students, including their strengths and weaknesses to inform building-level interventions and specialized support services. Her compassionate and understanding demeanor creates an environment where students feel at ease expressing their challenges, enabling her to employ a solution-focused approach to address obstacles that may impede their lifelong goals.
In addition to her role as a School Psychologist, Dr. Paler serves on various committees, holding positions such as the Instructional Support Team Coordinator and Section 504 Coordinator. Her commitment extends from individual counseling sessions to conducting classroom workshops that focus on resilience, stress management, and interpersonal skills. Our school psychologist is unwavering in her dedication to fostering a positive and inclusive school environment, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to achieve their goals.
