Sometimes, students experience issues that can interfere with their academic and personal success.
DHS Counselors are available to help students with such issues.
If assistance is needed, please visit or call the Counseling Office to make an appointment or click here to email your School Counselor.

If you are in crisis please let the secretary know and you will be seen immediately.
If you are concerned about a student in crisis, please complete the Student Concern Form

Genesee Valley Health Partnership  The GVHP is a non-profit, rural health network of more than 40 different organizations that are either based in Livingston County or provide services to Livingston County residents. This website provides resources and agencies available to the residents of Livingston County in a variety of areas.

Office Of Mental Health (OMH)  The program directory allows you to search for mental health programs by county, program category or subcategory and view program details including program name, address and phone number.  It also has information on both Crisis Prevention and Behavioral Health.

CASA of Livingston County  The Council on Alcohol and Substance Abuse of Livingston County, Inc. provides high quality, accessible, and effective prevention, education, treatment, referral, and recovery services to individuals, families and communities affected by alcohol, tobacco, and other substances.

Noyes Mental Health Service  Noyes's mental health professionals collaborate with patients, their families, and the community to support wellness and recovery, and to make a profound difference in the lives of area residents-those struggling with life's everyday challenges, as well as those with severe and persistent mental illness.  We offer individual, group and family therapy for adults, children, and families in a friendly and open atmosphere. 

National Suicide Prevention LIFELINE  The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. 

National Association of School Psychologists a variety of Resources available for families.  

American Psychological Association  An excellent resource with links to information on a variety of Psychology topics including, but not limited to, Depression, Anxiety, Death and Dying, Anger, and Stress.
