Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA):

College Scholarship Service (CSS) Profile:

The CSS Profile, short for the College Scholarship Service Profile, is an online application created and maintained by College Board that allows college students to apply for non-federal financial aid. It is primarily designed to give member institutions of the College Board a comprehensive look at the financial and family situation of students and their families to use as they determine their eligibility for institutional financial aid. It is more detailed than the US federal application, FAFSA.

New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP):

The New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) helps eligible New York residents pay tuition at approved schools in New York State. Depending on the academic year in which you begin study, an annual TAP award can be up to $5,165. Because TAP is a grant, it does not have to be paid back.
